Asiago Artichoke Dip with Roasted Garlic


Ingredients:

2 cups grated Asiago cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise (homemade if possible)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 tsp smoked salt

1 full head roasted garlic (soft and caramelized)

4-5 marinated artichoke hearts (about 1 small jar)

1/2 tsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)


Instructions:


  1. Roast the garlic

    1. Preheat your oven to 400F

    2. Slice the top off a head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35-40 minutes until soft and golden. Once cooled, squeeze the cloves out and set aside.

  2. Prepare the artichokes

    1. Drain the marinated artichoke hearts and chop into small pieces for easier mixing and flavour distribution.

  3. Mix the base

    1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Asiago cheese, mayo, sour cream, smoked salt, and Ginger Garlic Chive seasoning.

  4. Add the flavour bombs

    1. stir in the roasted garlic, chopped artichoke hearts and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
